Standalone Energy Independence

Solar Power for Applications That Cannot Depend on the Grid.

Off-grid solar combines high-efficiency photovoltaic generation with large-capacity battery storage to support locations where conventional utility electrical lines are non-existent, unreliable, or prohibitively expensive to pull.

When Off-Grid Solar Is Essential
  • No Grid Connection: Remote agricultural land, hilly terrain, or forest eco-resorts where utility line extension costs lakhs.
  • Total Autonomy: Zero electricity bills, zero dependence on discom power tariffs, and complete operational self-sufficiency.
  • Remote Telemetry & Security: Remote telecommunication towers, highway toll booths, and border security checkpoints.
When Off-Grid Is Not Recommended
  • Grid-Connected Urban Areas: Net-metering with on-grid or hybrid yields far superior economics because excess solar is credited by the utility.
  • Seasonal Heavy Loads: Sizing off-grid battery banks for occasional high-surge machinery (e.g. 20 HP pumps) requires massive capital investment that remains underutilized most days.

How Off-Grid Sizing Works

Unlike on-grid systems, an off-grid system must be engineered around total connected watt-hours (Wh) and days of weather autonomy.

1. Watt-Hour Load Audit

Every lamp, fan, refrigerator, pump, and computer is cataloged with its exact operating hours to determine total daily Wh requirement.

2. Battery Bank Autonomy

The storage bank is sized to provide 1.5 to 2 full days of energy storage to maintain electricity supply through cloudy or monsoon spells.

3. Oversized Solar Array

The solar panel capacity is purposefully oversized to simultaneously power daytime appliances and fully recharge depleted batteries within 4 to 5 peak sun hours.
